Stop #1: Welcome Center
Students are greeted at the Center by several members of the LaGrange Living Historical Association, dressed in period clothing. The students will hear a brief history of Alabama's First College at this point.
Stop #2:Country Store
A visit to a log cabin, Country Store, is a visual experience of how and what was once sold in years past. Students can make small purchases while visiting the store.
Stop #3: Bed & Breakfast Inn, Smoke House, log barn, chapel-school, Black Smith Shop, and more. (All log cabins.)
The students will be entertained by Grandpa inside the "out house."
Stop #4: Hay Ride to Historic Cemetery
Students will experience a brief drama of re-enactors portraying some of the historical people who are buried in the cemetery.
Stop #5: Lunch at the Pavilion.
Students bring a sack lunch or LLHA can provide a wiener roast at a small fee.
