Bed & Breakfast

The 1880, two bedroom log cabin, Bed & Breakfast Inn is located on the crest of LaGrange Mountain, inside the pioneer village of the LaGrange College Site Park. It is discreetly modernized with electricity and air conditioning for comfort. The sleeping quarters will accommodate 5-6 people.
Reservations are available only from April through November.
Rental proceeds go directly towards operations of the LaGrange College Park. 

LaGrange Village boasts Bed & Breakfasts log cabin nestled in shade of a large oak tree, and only a short walk from the pavilion that overlooks the county. Two floors, cozy quilts, and a warm hearth await anyone who visits this comfortable guest home on the park campus. 
Accommodations include:

  • 2 half beds and 2 full size beds
  • Accommodates 5-6 people
  • Ceramic standing tub in a washroom with all modern amenities.
  • Discreetly integrated electric outlets with heating and cooling.

Experience a Living History Field Trip with us!

Stop #1: Welcome Center
Students are greeted at the Center by several members of the LaGrange Living Historical Association, dressed in period clothing. The students will hear a brief history of Alabama's First College at this point.

Stop #2:Country Store
A visit to a log cabin, Country Store, is a visual experience of how and what was once sold in years past. Students can make small purchases while visiting the store.

Stop #3: Bed & Breakfast Inn, Smoke House, log barn, chapel-school, Black Smith Shop, and more. (All log cabins.)
The students will be entertained by Grandpa inside the "out house."

Stop #4: Hay Ride to Historic Cemetery
Students will experience a brief drama of re-enactors portraying some of the historical people who are buried in the cemetery.

Stop #5: Lunch at the Pavilion.
Students bring a sack lunch or LLHA can provide a wiener roast at a small fee.
